Scholarship
"To gain understanding that wisdom may be vouchsafed to me."
In Alpha Upsilon, we hold our grades in very high regards. There are many programs and incentives each semester to promote education and good scholarship.

Scholarship Programs:
Scholarship Tea: This is put on semi-annually. It is a chapter-wide lunch
or brunch put on to celebrate those who achieved high marks over the semester.
The following awards are given out: Most improved GPA, Strive for Pi, GPA above
a 3.0, a 3.5, and a 4.0.
Study Table: We reserve a certain classroom and the members who have a
3.0 or higher are 'proctors' that watch over the girls who would like to come
and study in a quite environment.
Study Hours: Depending on each members GPA, you must complete a certain
number of study hours each week. In our new member programs, this is especially
important. If you have a 3.0 or higher, you don't need to do study hours. Prizes
and awards are given out to those with the most study hours.
Professor Profiles: This is a new system we are implementing where girls
can fill out sheets about past professors, along with old quizzes and tests that
other girls can study from.
Panhellenic Greek Awards/Scholarship Banquets: This is a Greek-wide,
semi-annual catered meal/banquet that celebrates those who received a 3.5 or
higher in a given semester.
Scholarship Programs: These are for the ladies who didn't make grades.
They can have the opportunity to get together with the Vice President of
Scholarship and set up programs or plans on how to get their grades up through
better study habits, time management, etc.
