"To cultivate acquaintance with many whom I meet."
In Alpha Gamma Delta, we are a
social sorority on campus and take advantage of that. So the following are
all social activities we participate in
4-ways: This is where we get another sorority, and two fraternities
to participate in an event with us! It could be as simple as watching the
Pistons game together.
Date Parties: Date parties usual casual/informal dances or events.
Things we've done in the past are BBQ's, Bowling, Ice Cream Socials, etc.
Formals: These are help semi-annually and are treated like prom. We
have dinner before hand and end up going to a dance hall or the Mt. Pleasant
Country Club. A fun time to break out those prom dresses you thought you
would never wear again!
Intramural Athletics: We have different sports each year to
participate. We've done Floor Hockey, Volleyball, Soccer, and Flag Football
in the past.
Participating in Panhel events and other Greek's Events: Panhellenic
Council and other Greek's on campus have many events that we love to
participate in. A few of our favorites include: Greek Week, Derby Days,
Homecoming, Greekend, Greek Unity Event, Greeks in the Streets, and the
Greek Block Party
