Purpose of CMLACMU

The
Collegiate Middle Level Association at Central Michigan
University is open to all students interested in preparing to
teach at the middle level. Its purpose is to provide
information, support, and fellowship to persons interested in the
education of young adolescents. Activities to help members
grow as professional middle level educators include guest
speakers, panel discussions, workshops, the opportunity to attend
state and national middle level conferences, newsletters, as well
as social events. The organization is affiliated with the
Collegiate Middle Level Association (CMLA), an affiliate
organization of the National Middle School Association (NMSA),
which offers additional benefits of newsletters, journals, and
networking with other collegiate middle level educators.
