Eta Sigma Gamma is a national professional honorary society in health education, dedicated to elevate the standards, ideals, and ethics of professionally trained people in health education.

History of Eta Sigma Gamma

The tri-dimensional design of the Eta Sigma Gamma insignia represents the honorary trillium flower. Its three characteristic leaves were chosen to reflect the ideals of teaching, service and research. The lamp of learning used in installation/initiation ceremonies represents the unifying element of the three ideals.

If you are pursuing a health education or public health major or minor you may be interested in what Eta Sigma Gamma can offer. Eta Sigma Gamma provides unique opportunities for professional development, networking with health professionals, implementing health programs and other community involvement. We welcome a variety of health related studies.
