III.  EVENT WRAP-UP

·       Relay – everyone showed up that was supposed to work J, only stayed for 13 hours but sold all of the bake sale items ($200); Made $735 total; if you want extra case of water donate $5 to Eta and get it from Erin

·       Tie-Dye Social – Went really well, except for a minor mishap with the dye.

·       Green is Sexy – Went well; may pick it up again by getting a table in the HP atrium to sell, people wanted them at relay

IV.  EVENTS

·       Around 100 million trees and 28 billion gallons of water are used to send junk mail to Americans every year, according to greendimes.com. You can stop 75% of unsolicited mail by registering on the Mail Preference Service on the Direct Marketing Association website (for a fee of $1). Within 90 days, most unsolicited mail will stop.

·       President

·       Final Report – E-board members send project planning guides to Katie if you haven’t yet by next E-board (April 1st)

·       Contact List – Please make sure your information is on the contact list so we can get a hold of you if needed.

·       Missing events – you need to make up points if you are signed up for an event and missed it. You also need to do an extra point in that area.

·       Vice President of Education

·       National Public Health Week – April 6-9

·       Last event if no ideas show up; lots of slots to work the table in the Atrium…get your point this way

·       Looking for new ideas, email them to Erin.

·       Vice President of Service

·       HIV/AIDS testing April 15-16 in Foust may be working at it; we’ll have details at April 8 meeting

·       Be My Neighbor Day  April 4th – not going as a group but if you would like to go, you can use as service point; 9am breakfast; 10-noon task; Alex is taking a group to Maplewood…join her site J

·       Adopt-A-Highway – Monday, April 20th – Meet at Italian Oven parking lot at 6:30 pm – Social eating pizza afterward

·       Vice President of Research

·       SCREE committee – finish poster, be at poster during SCREE – LAST RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY

·       Treasurer - $966.24

·       Secretary/Membership Coordinator

·       Katie will put up a list of events so you know which is which

·       Look for the point sheet in your email…one will be put on Blackboard too.

·       Historian – scrapbooking April 17th at 12:30 in Foust 205; committee to come for bulletin boards

·       Recycling fundraising- collecting ink cartridges, cell phones, etc

·       Looking into a food fundraiser- committee

·       Selling Green is Sexy T-Shirts in Atrium

·       Social  

·       Yoga: April 1st at 7:30 pm HP 2261

·       Italian Oven: April 20th after Adopt-A-Highway which is at 6:30

·       If you bring a food item and attend the Ice Cream Social for the dean on April 15th you can use that as a social point too.

·       Bensley Banquet in April 10th at Riverwood 11-2pm; money due today!
