ONEREPUBLIC The band’s first single, “Apologize,” which was remixed by Timbaland, has been Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 for ten consecutive weeks, rocketing all the way to #2. The song has sold two million legal downloads, maintained its #1 position on the Top 40 chart for two months, and entered the history books by shattering the record for the most spins at radio in just one week with over 10,000 spins. The CNSCT launches its first ever Virtual Battle of the Bands on the spring 2008 tour. Each participating university will have an opportunity to submit three of their favorite bands (campus or local) for the competition. Chosen bands will post pics, videos and music to the battle page on this site and students will have an opportunity to cast a vote for their favorite group. The band with the most votes at each university will open the show on the main stage and receive a picture / name mention in SPIN magazine.
