Membership Requirements

To be considered an active member of Student Accounting Society (for the purposes of the Student Development Record) the following criteria must be met during the semester:

• Members must attend at least two (2) community service events.
• Members must attend at least two (2) social events.
• Members must attend the Fall Banquet.
• Members must attend at least five (5) professional meetings

Members must accumulate at least 85 points. Points will be calculated using the following allocation method:

• Professional events 10 points
• Social events 5 points
• Community Service events 10 points
• Fall Banquet 5 points

Dues must also be paid on or before October 15, 1998 to be considered an active member.
